STK or Clear
Ever wonder the difference between STK(Select Tight Knot) and clear? STK is a grade of cedar, Knots and other natural features define the visual characteristics. They both have benefits depending what your using the cedar for. Lets say your building a a nice deck or fence? STK is typically the most common choice. Where as if you were building a sauna, you would need to use Clear lumber because the knots retain more heat and could potentially burn you.
